In the early 80s, I was watching a wrestling show on TV one day. Three of Japanese top stars were touring the US, and the matches from Dallas were being aired. One of the "bad guys'" team whom I had never seen in Japan had this cool song that starts with organ and guitar as their entrance song. I called the office of All Japan Pro-Wrestling, which referred me to the sports department of Nippon Television. The representative at NTV was kind enough to me and gave me the song title "Freebird" and this weird band name. Later, I found their best hit 2-record set at a imported record store and got hoooked into their songs since then. At the time when I came to the US in '87, I was already a big fan of this band which is not well-known in Japan.
